Swami Vivekananda was the famous disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa who had reached higher realms of spirituality always spoke extempore that's why he never had to refer a single book in his lifetime. His speeches have turned so many lives & have given a ray to others to live with joy & like a hero. He was a great reformer of India who always loved education.
Once Swami Vivekananda started up with the speech for months on Zero, a black Dot. He said that the whole mankind seemed glued to the Black dot which is filled with wrong people indulged in wrong practices.
He puts lot of emphasis on physical education, moral and religious education, women education and education for weaker sections of society. He said that upliftment of the society is only possible through Education. Vivekananda realized our mankind is facing crisis, moral values & spirituality is losing its importance. For which He prepared the scheme of man-making education in the light of his over-all philosophy of Vedanta. Swami Vivekananda lays great stress on physical health because a sound mind resides in a sound body. He believes that the students should focus on meditation & practice to have control over the mind. Education doesn't mean filling the brain with heavy amount of information.
The transformation of man is possible only through moral & spiritual education to fight social evils of the society. It's a high time that we should think about education & take steps to make the society well educated. Swami Vivekananda was superior philosopher in whole world and great spiritual person among each and every person who are living in world.
