Exams are considered to be the most stressful event of life. Students keep on studying for the exams during the whole year. But, on the day of the exam when there is no need of doing anything, they get nervous. Some students try to revise the points at the last moment of the exam. There are instances when you prepare day and night for the exam and still you do not score well. Why? Is that you are weak at studies or the paper was tough. No, not at all. There are important tips which can definitely improvise your performance during the examinations, some of them are:
1. Get up before time:
On the day of commencement of the examination, wake up early so that you need not to hurry up, rather do the breakfast and other day to day activities before time. This will reduce the stress level of the examination and you will feel relaxed at the time of exam.
2. Check article list:
Check all the articles before leaving for the examination make sure that you have all the stationery, ID card, admit card, wristwatch, etc. Many of us wish to save time and leave from home just few minutes before the exam. This will only create unnecessary headache and makes you forget many things. It is said that "Better three hours too soon than a minute too late". So one should go early to appear for the exam, then to go late.
3. Every minute is important:
If you want to go washroom then just go before the examination. During the examination every minute plays a crucial role and activities like going washroom is outright wastage of time. Some students have the mentality that during exam if they go out then this will recreate their mind. But every second is important when you are appearing for the exam and going washroom will also deviate the mind in the exam.
4. Time management:
Managing the time is the most important skill in this competitive world. Before writing answers the students must read the questions carefully and should always make a strategy, that which questions they are going to attempt first. Also, decide which questions you are going to give more time than others. Sometime we waste several minutes on a question which consist of less marks that's why it is always said that "Time management is Exam Management".
5. Clarify your doubts:
If you have doubt regarding any question then do not feel hesitate to ask to the examiner. He/she will definitely help you with that as "Sometimes it is better to ask than to answer wrong".
6. Reach on time:
Try to reach the examination center at the time, so that there will be no tension regarding date, day, time or center. Always check the map of the center if you are not sure of its location or visit the center before the examination. These days goggle maps are very much beneficial for such kind of activities.
7. Be confident:
It is a human tendency that we get influenced very easily from the people surrounding us. But, there is a huge difference between motivated and dissuaded. Humans get demotivated early, and then get inspired. "Confidence comes naturally with success, but success comes only to those who are confident". If you find people around you who are nervous don't look at them rather console them to be confident and say everything will be fine.
8. Entries have to be proper:
Always remember to write the roll number on the copy. You will not believe but there are many students who forget to write roll numbers and their copies are not checked. Also, write the entries accurately with full concentration without any mistake.
9. Keep writing:
There are instances when your mind got frozen at that time start writing anything on the answer sheet. In few minutes automatically everything will come into your mind, if you got shuttered at that time, then your chances to score good will definitely be reduced.
10. Start with what you know:
This is the most important tip for the exam that you should always start with the question which you know most accurately. There is no compulsion that you should start the question number wise. If you think that in this case you might forget to answer some questions than mark a tick for the questions which you have already attempted. It is true to say "When a start is better than ending will definitely be a miracle" or "First impression is the last impression". This is the same mentality of the examiner while judging your copy.
