Teachers are the pillars of Nation:
Education is associated with student. The one who learns, the one who gains, the one who is being developed, the one who is going to be supported, the one who is benefited with the gift of education is a student. In Indian history if you recall the education system concerned with ‘Brahmacharya’, ‘Gurukul’(schools), ‘Gurus’(teachers) and ‘Shisya’(Disciples), these were the culture of education. Now with the growth of our race the culture is modified a little bit. Now schools and teachers are in modern educational culture.
Role:
Teachers play an important role in a student’s life. A student in its early age is like a blank white sheet on that anything can be written. Family and teachers place the foundation of a student’s growth, or say they place foundation of the society. In society the student is a community that is considered as the future of today’s era. Teachers have the moral responsibility to build the future indirectly. Nation like India has most of the youngsters in its society. These people represent the strength and image of the nation. So it is clear enough that the students should be morally mature to represent a nation. Thus the whole responsibility comes on the shoulder of teachers. This is why teachers are considered as pillars of nation.
Nation represents integrated communities that are made of several societies having students to represent it. Teachers are responsible for sowing the seed of knowledge in student.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching ‘Moral values’
- Presenting ‘Facts and truth’
- And ‘Let him grow’
These are the main responsibilities of a teacher for his students. Today a teacher is only doing his job that is totally different from doing his duty. The motive of being a teacher can’t be fulfilled if the situation remains the same, and if teachers themselves are losing morals then who will teach about retaining morals to students. Teachers have a moral duty to shape the future of nation in terms of education by providing it to children of the nation and if he is not doing his duty faithfully it may be considered as betrayal to the nation. If the pillar itself loses its strength how can it be supposed to provide strength to building? “A nation with a corrupt education is a weak nation”, they say. Education is our policy and it should be respected.
Conclusion:
“A nations growth can be observed by the growth of education in it”, they say. Growth of education depends upon many factors but loyalty of teachers for their duty is the most important and effective one.
A teacher should be respected for his faithfulness towards his responsibilities and knowledge. A teacher builds the nation’s power, he deserves honor. Teacher should be greeted for his work and should be appreciated for letting us know the truth about life. Teacher should be rewarded for accepting such a big responsibility, and giving his best on it. Teacher should be regarded again and again for making us capable, for being the pillar of nation.
