counter stress due to the heavy pressure of studies and excelling in different
subjects. This was also to control the number of suicides among students.
Surpur said that such sessions will curb negativity and will
bring creativity, insight and compassion among students distressing students.
The yoga sessions were held in two sessions i.e. morning
beginning at 6 am and afternoon at 12.30 am. Both the sessions were moderated
by the Isha Foundation gurus. In the sessions, students were even tips on being
calm and peaceful.
According to Ravi Sanghi, a student, he felt light during
the session and liked the yoga activities. They were also given tutorial CDs.
This is not the first initiative, earlier 'Masti Ki
Pathshala' was held in all the coaching institutes simultaneously by asking
every coaching institute to organize fun-filled activities for their students.
