For many aspirants, XAT 2018 exam turned out to be a painful experience as they faced several technical glitches during the exam. Candidates tagged the exam to be a mess and shared their inconveniences on social media platforms.
XAT was conducted online for the first time and majority of candidates faced the connectivity issue during the exam. Seeing the inconvenience of the candidates, XLRI has decided to schedule a re-exam for the candidates of two exam centers.
An official statement from XLRI says 'at 2 centers due to server related technical issues, the exam couldn't be conducted. Re-examination will be conducted at these centers for the affected students. The new date will be will be announced very soon and communicated to the affected students.'
'One of the two centers is in Kolkata and the other is in Gurgaon,' reads the official statement. Tweets claim that the exam has been rescheduled for centre at Barasat, Kolkata and Farukknagar, Gurgaon.
Due to technical glitches, candidates were unable to login for the exam even one hour after the scheduled time.
