For all those willing to enter the Armed Forces, the CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) Examination is one of the best options. For all those who have filled up the form this year, it is time to give the final shape to their preparations. The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) that organizes the CAPF exam, has released the admit cards.
The admit cards can be downloaded from the website of the organization "“ www.upsc.gov.in.
You need to click on the link that says CAPF examination 2016 admit cards and then fill up your credentials in order to get your admit cards.
The last date for the downloading of the admit card is 26th June. Based on the results of this examination, the candidates will be selected for the various vacancies on the posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the forces comprising of the Border Security Force (BSF), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
The written examination would have a couple of papers which would take place from 10 to 12 in the morning and 2 to 5 in the afternoon respectively.
Paper 1 of the examination - General Ability and Intelligence
The Maximum marks of Paper 1: 250
This paper would include objective type question with multiple options to answer. The questions are set in two languages, Hindi and English.
Paper 2 of the examination - General Studies, Essay and Comprehension
The Maximum marks for Paper 2: 200
In this paper the candidates will be allowed to either opt for writing it in Hindi or English, however, the sections such as precis writing, comprehension components and other communications/ language skills, would be compulsorily written English only. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer in objective type section.
