On Wednesday, Tamil Nadu government informed the HC that the training program for the NEET exam for the aspirants will began by the end of this month.
J Radhakrishnan, Secretary of Department of Health and Family Welfare informed the court that the state has proposed to select the teachers from every district and give them the sufficient training so that in turn they can train the NEET aspirants from the state.
The counter affidavit submitted by the state states that the exclusive training centers and central libraries for the aspirants of the competitive exams would be set up in every district at the expense of 72 lakh.
Regarding the cases registered for protests against the NEET exam affidavit said "1,422 agitations have been reported in the state of which 933 were by political parties and 317 were by students."
The affidavit also stated that counseling process of NEET 2017 has been completed and management and government quota seats in government and self-financing private medical colleges have been filled.
As of now the matter has been posted by the judge for further hearing on November 8.
