An important information has been released by the SPPU university for the students who are enrolled in B.Ed colleges of the University and scheduled to appear for the exams in the month of November.
The university released an official circular and said that owing to the paucity of the students for the course, the university has been forced to club the examination centers. B.Ed courses are becoming unpopular among the students.
The circular also asked the respective colleges to take the responsibility of informing all the students about the exam centers which have been finalized by University, a list of which has also been published by the University.
The circular said 'in cases where the name of the college where the student is registered or is studying is printed as the name of the exam center, it will not be the actual exam center — instead, a main center has been selected and a students from nearby colleges will appear for exams there.'
When asked that if such a change would lead to confusion among the students as the hall tickets are already available, SPPU exam controller Ashok Chavan called it a routine practice.
