Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has notified that the results of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC-CEN 03/2015) will not be declared on July 10, 2016, as the results are still under processing.
NTPC exam is conducted by the RRB to online written exams to fill 18,252 vacancies in various technical and non-technical posts of the RRB. This exam was conducted this year in March-May 2016 across the various centers in the nation. The newspaper advertisement (CEN 03/2015) was published in December 2015, regarding the recruitment for various posts, including assistant station master, clerk, good guard, typist, apprentice and junior accounts assistant by the RRB.
Anil Kumar Saxena, Indian Railways' spokesperson, told an English news daily that, "The rumors regarding declaration of RRB NTPC exam results on July 10 are incorrect and we are still in the process of preparing the results as a large number of students had appeared in the exam. The board is trying to expedite the process of preparation of results and efforts will be made to declare it at the earliest.He said that about 92 lakh aspirants applied for the exam and about 56 lakh appeared."
Sanjay Kumar Bansal, member secretary of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) in Allahabad, when asked about the result date, mentioned that "no particular date" has been announced by the board for the declaration of the results.
