The HRD Ministry has appealed to all the students and parents to not rely on the hoax paper leaks circulating on the social media and should immediately report to the CBSE if they come across any such papers.
“After the arrest of some miscreants and suspension of a CBSE official, all efforts are being made to ensure smooth conduct of CBSE exam Monday. Students and parents are advised not to rely on rumours. In the past, a number of hoax leaked papers have been floated. Inform CBSE helpline,” School Education Secretary Anil Swarup said.
Amid the public outrage over the CBSE paper leaks, the HRD ministry suspended one board official. Delhi Police's Crime Branch also arrested three persons in relation to the paper leak two of which are private school teachers.
In the interest of the students, CBSE had already issued a public notice alerting parents and students about the fake question papers of Hindi Elective, Sanskrit and Political Science and said that they are hoax leaks.
Last week, HRD ministry announced that re-examinations of the CBSE class 12 economics exam will be conducted on April 25 and class 10 math exam re-test, if conducted, will only be for the centers in Delhi-NCR and Haryana in July.
