Keeping in mind the demand of the students and following the orders of High Court, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the registration process for the re-evaluation of the marks. Class 12 students can apply for the re-evaluation process provided they have already applied for the photo-state copy of their answer booklet.
For now, students only have the provision to register for the 10 questions in 12 different subjects namely-
- English core
- English elective (CBSE)
- English elective (NCERT)
- Hindi core
- Hindi elective
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Business studies
- Economics
- Accountancy
“In class 10, in the event of receiving representations relating to non-awarding of marks to particular question(s) as per marking scheme and/or unevaluated portion of the answer book, the same shall be dealt as per procedure followed for verification of grades,” the CBSE said in a notice.
The re-evaluation process will cost students Rs 100 per question and they are required to send the amount through Demand Draft to the local CBSE office attest by July 7 or transfer them via NEFT. The request for the scrutiny of marks will only be accepted once by the CBSE.
