Indian institute of Technology Indore has released the notification for its Doctor of Philosophy program (PhD) inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for the same. The notification is for the program in Electrical Engineering for the session 2016-17.
Educational qualification
Candidates interested in applying for the program must have:
First class Master's degree in the relevant discipline of the engineering/technology (minimum)
OR
Minimum first class Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering/technology discipline from a reputed institute with a valid GATE score
OR
B.Tech degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0 or minimum first class Master's degree in the relevant discipline of science with valid GATE qualification or UGC/CSIR-JRF qualification or equivalent fellowship.
Selection procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test followed by the interview which will be conducted by the institute.

"¢After the application is submitted the candidates are required to bring the hard-copy of the application along with:
oState bank college receipt
oRecent photograph
oSelf-attested certificates
All these things, candidates are supposed to bring at the time of written test and interview.
Important dates
The last date for applying online is August 19.
Written test and/or interview will be conducted on August 20 and 21.
