Level 1 of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) was successfully conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) on Sunday, November 6, 2017. For the exam, a total of 25,403 candidates had registered.
The exam was conducted in 92 different centers across the country.
The exam was conducted smoothly and successfully and there were only two incidents in which candidates were caught using the unfair means. The board's chairman, Jagbir Singh, visited the exam centers in Bhiwani and RKMM Bhiwani.
Earlier, HRD minister, Prakash Javadekar, also announced the approval for reservation of OBC for NTSE stage 2 scholarship. The scholarship is given by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) on annual basis to help the students in classes 11, 12, undergraduate and postgraduate levels of education.
