New cities Foundation and Oasis 500 annouced the launch of Omraan with US$30,000 for seed funding acceleration program in Amman, Jordan.Omraan is a unique initiative with the aim to identify and rewarding Indian entrepreneurs with the aim to tackle urban enviornrment in the middle-east.Through the seed funding acceleration Omraan mission is to develop most creative and forward thinking.to develop the ideas into concerete thinking.
Applicants will have to submit a brief statement explaining their ideas .The representatives will have to given a 10-min.pitch and the interviews of the representatives will be taken by the jury members over the skype/phone and that will be nominated for the award.In order to qualify start-ups must provides the technological solutions to urban problems like-web,cloud.gaming.entertainement,enterprisesoftware,digital news etc.
