Due to the increase in the enrollment of the students for the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) exams, CHSE has decided to increase the number of seats from 1,007 to 1,110 for plus two exam centers. The decision was informed and confirmed by the council's deputy exam controller, Prabodh Kumar Panda.
Decision to set up another center at ITER in Bhubaneswar was also taken and with the new center there are now four sub centers and the other three are located in KIIT, KISS and Saraswati Gyana Vidya Mandir.
The annual state plus 2 exams will be conducted by the CHSE from March 6. In the notification, the board said "the exam will conclude on March 29. The examinations will begin from 10 am and will end at 1 pm".
The practical exams for the board will be conducted from January 25 till February 5. The regular students will appear for the practical exams according to the new syllabus and non-regular students will appear for the exams according to the old syllabus.
