In a unique initiative for students across India, Nurture Talent, in association with Intaglio - the International Business Summit of IIM Calcutta, announced Launchpad 2013. Launchpad is a mega business plan contest being organized by one of the premier institutes of India. As a preliminary round of the mega business plan contest, a series of 50 workshops will be organized by Nurture Talent Academy. During these workshops, experienced entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts from Nurture Talent will guide, train and mentor young students across colleges, covering subjects like business planning, finance, investment, marketing and technology in a lively and interactive format. Each workshop will end with a contest among the participants and the top 3 teams will get a chance to go to the next round of Launchpad.
The mega-finals of Launchpad will be held at the IIM Calcutta campus itself, where students will get a chance to present their plans and strategies to eminent judges, including venture capitalists, investors, and entrepreneurs. Top teams will also have a possibility of getting incubated at IIM Calcutta.
Amit Grover, CEO and Founder, Nurture Talent Academy said, "It is our commitment to enable 1000 entrepreneurs and create 20000 jobs in next 3-5 years. We believe that a unique combination of training, mentoring, competition and incubation can give a big push to entrepreneurial thinking among students across India. Launchpad is a perfect platform in this regard and Intaglio-IIMC team has put in great efforts to bring this concept to life."
The organizing team of Intaglio-IIM Calcutta hopes to make Launchpad a highly impactful event and aims to give a big boost to the entrepreneurship eco-system in India. As a coincidence, Intaglio completes 25 years of its inception in 2013, and over these years it has taken a pole position among business summits organized across the world.

About Launchpad
Dreams are the quintessential part of human psyche. India in recent times, given its vast demographic & cultural diversity and a strong growth story, provides an interesting opportunity for entrepreneurs. The land of jugaad has created many entrepreneurs who have come and revolutionized the Indian market space - Kishore Biyani, Sunil Mittal, Dhirubhai Ambani and the list goes on. There are opportunities to be created and tapped and then there are the starry eyed youth who dream to make a difference- what is missing is a platform to connect the two. Launchpad bridges this gap, providing wings to the dreams of budding entrepreneurs. But the ultimate aim is to go one step further- converting trivial seeming but high potential insights over tea, canteen talks to a serious Business. The event provides the means and a golden platform to provide the warmth to hatch the golden eggs of the next Airtel and Future Group.
