Director
General Vineet Joshi, NTA said that the National Testing Agency will soon re-open
the application correction window for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
Earlier, NTA
had provided application window for JEE exam from March 13 to March 16 and then
again from April 1 to May 3. The decision for re-opening the application
correction window is again under consideration because of Lockdown 4.0. NTA had
also provided students with the facility to change their exam center.
Mr Joshi, in
the interview given on Saturday, said: “Similar to what we did for NEET
(National Eligibility cum Entrance Test), We are planning for opening
correction for JEE Main.”
Mr. Joshi
also said that NTA will publish the results within 5 days of conducting the
exam. The JEE Mains exam is scheduled to be held from July 18 to July 23.
Due to ongoing lockdown, the NTA has also extended
the application correction window for NEET 2020 aspirants until May 31.
