The answer key and question paper for the National Eligibility Test (NET) exam has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) at its official website -- nta.ac.in, ntanet.nic.in. The exam was conducted from December 2 to December 6 at various test centers across the country. According to the reports, a total of 7,93,813 candidates had appeared for the exam out of 10 lakh registered candidates.
The question paper and preliminary answer key for the exam are available online and candidates have a window until December 13, 11:50 pm to raise objections against the answer key. For each challenge, a candidate is required to pay INR 1000.
Steps to download NTA UGC NET answer key
- Visit the official website -- ntanet.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the link which says ‘view question paper and challenge answer key’
- Select the desired mode for log-in
- Enter your credentials
- Answer key will be displayed on the screen
Steps to challenge the answer key
- After log-in, click on challenges/s regarding answer key’
- Click on the option IDs’ (where currently correct option is marked) under the ‘question id’ you think is wrong
- Upload the supporting documents
- Click on ‘save your claim finally’
- Preview your challenge and click on ‘pay here’
- Make the payment and click on submit
The objections will be examined and final result will be released along with the final answer key. The results for CSIR NET and UGC NET will be released on December 31 and successful students will get e-certification.
