The North Eastern Hill University has officially notified all the eligible and interested candidates for admission to its post graduate courses in the current academic session. A prescribed format has been declared in which each candidate is supposed to apply.
The various courses offered by the University are as follows- Master of Arts (M. A), Master of Science (M. Sc), Master of Commerce (M. Com), Master of Library and Information science (M. L I Sc.), Master of Education (M. Ed.), Master of Law (L. L. M.), Master of Philosophy (M. Phil) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D). The last date for submission of applications for Master's programme is July 12.
For applying to the LLM course, all interested candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in LLB with a minimum of 55 percent or must have scored a minimum of 55 percent in its equivalent examination. The last date for sending applications for LLM programme is August 13.
For admission in M. Ed. Programme of the University, the applicant must possess either of the following undergraduate or diploma degrees- Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science or a Diploma in Elementary Education with a minimum of 50 percent marks in each.

The candidates need to pay a fee of Rs. 220 for each application form whereas an SC/ST applicant needs to pay an amount of Rs. 110. The applications will be shortlisted on the basis of the criteria laid by NEHU as well as after gauging the performance of applicants in their admission test.
The candidates need to apply for admission through offline mode only and can download applications from www.nehu.ac.in, the official website.
