The infamous Jodhpur National University is in the news yet again. The admissions in the University have been banned by the Rajasthan. The University was in the news for granting more than 25,000 fake degrees to students, with quick impact for the scholastic session 2015-16.
A departmental enquiry constituted after a case enlisted with the Special Operation Group-Police (SOG-P)on the fake degree trick has prescribed the boycott on confirmation in the college till the test is in progress, an official proclamation said here.
Since 2009, the Jodhpur-found University has granted 38,000 degrees and marksheets to students of which 25,003 were discovered fake, training clergyman KC Saraf had told state Assembly in April.
Central secretary, advanced education, Pawan Kumar Goyal said the enquiry board of trustees had found that there was terrible infringement of University Act by the Jodhpur National University prompting the fake degree trick.
To stay away from any danger and test with the newcomer students, it has been chosen by the administration to boycott any new affirmation in JNU, Goyal said.
Subsequently, the boycott on new affirmation is effected forthwith for the scholarly session 2015-16, he included.
