National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) released its yearly rankings on April 3 at Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi. In the rankings, institute across the nations were ranked based on their performance in various areas. As far as management institutes of the nation are concerned, IIM-A occupied the first place.
The rankings were released by the Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry. Union Minister, Prakash Javadekar also announced that participation by the government institutions is mandatory from the next year. If they did not participate, they will face the budget cuts.
