Delhi government is all set to take a stand against central 'Indian Education Service' and a centralized induction program along with proposals (several) regarding higher education which is mentioned in the draft named ' New Education Policy (NEP).'
A meeting was held in light of the same by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia along with the professors and vice-chancellors of Delhi Technological University, National Law University, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and the head of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Delhi.
Why Government is not in the favor of centralized service for teachers?
"¢Centralized service for teachers may result in frequent transfers therefore the government is not in the favor of all this.
"¢Government is also against the number of colleges which can be affiliated to a particular university.
