It is expected that the National Board of Examination (NBE) will announce the results of the NEET MDS 2020 exam by next week. NEET MDS exam is held for admission to various post-graduate MDS courses under the Dentists Act, 1948. The exam was held on December 20, 2019.
NEET MDS exam was held in a single session on a single day. Questions asked were from the standard BDS syllabus and the duration of the exam was 3 hours. The exam consisted of 240 multiple-choice questions. Each question was of 4 marks and for wrong answers negative one mark was awarded to the candidates.
According to the schedule, the result will be declared by January 20, 2020. The score obtained in the exam will be valid only for the current academic session.
For the candidates of the General category, the eligibility criterion is 50th percentile, for SC, ST, and OBC categories, the eligibility criterion is 40th percentile and for the candidates from PwD (general) category, the eligibility criterion is 45th percentile.
After the declaration of the results, the counseling will be done by the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
