The draft of Indian National University Bill, 2015, which aims at setting up the self-governing institute with world class facilities for the purpose of training and research in military studies, in now online on government portal.
Under this bill INDU (Indian National Defense University) will soon be established in Gurgaon.
Details of the bill:
"¢In 196 the idea was originally envisioned.
"¢In 2000 it was again recommended by the Kargil Review committee.
"¢Now the bill in online on MyGov.in portal and on the website of Defense Ministry for a period 6 weeks.
"¢Ministry of defense will review the comments and suggestions by the public.
"¢After everything the bill will move to Parliament for the cabinet approval.
"¢For the purpose of setting the university the land was acquired in Gurgaon in 2012.
"¢The project will take 10 years to complete.
"¢Estimated cost is 2,072 crore.
