According to the latest information, the registration process for the IIT JAM 2019 exam will commence from tomorrow. Earlier, the registrations were to commence from September 1 but due to some unknown reasons the process was postponed to September 5. This year, the organizing committee for the IIT JAM 2019 is IIT-KGP.
The last date for the registration window to close is October 10, 2018. The exam is scheduled on February 10, 2019 and will be conducted in to sessions. It is a computer based test for Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology and Mathematical Statistics papers.
The exam is conducted every year to grant full-time admissions in M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, M.Sc.- M.Tech., and other Post-Bachelor's Degree Programs at different IITs and Integrated Ph.D. Programs at IISc.
Candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree with aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI 55%/5.5 are eligible to appear in the exam. The marks obtained by the candidate should not be rounded-off. For the candidates belonging to reserved classes the limit is 50%/5 (out of 10).
