The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad's Consult Club has entered into a strategic partnership with Breakthrough Management Group International (BMGI) in India, to carry out the club's activities. This is the first time that any club at IIM, Ahmedabad has entered into such a multi-year agreement.
The partnership aims to promote avenues of interaction for students, faculty, alumni and professionals through activities designed to increase and develop an understanding of the profession. The club conducted Sectorama with BMGI last year - a sector analysis contest which saw participation from over 2000 students across 80 B-Schools in India. This was a significant jump from the participation levels from the previous years.
This year, the club plans to invite participation from students of foreign B-Schools as well according to Ashutosh Sinha, Co-ordinator of the Consult Club. "IIM, Ahmedabad is strong brand globally. It's only natural that the club also strives to become one of most prominent and respected clubs in the global B-School universe. This partnership gives us an ideal platform to help us achieve this objective", he added.
