The Haryana Women Development Corporation and the technical education department is all set to take 840 girls from urban, semi-urban and large villages in the state under its wing,
The Haryana Government said that it would provide girls with computer training. For this, The Haryana Women Development Corporation (HWDC) and the Technical Education Department will take 840 girls from urban and semi-urban villages in the state under its wing.
Girls who are currently studying in class 12 in urban, semi-urban and big villages can are eligible for applying for the program and can do by submitting their applications to the District Manager of their District HWDC. The training will be held in two batches and with at least 40 girls in each batch.
The students below poverty line will be given preference. In the course the basic knowledge of computers, MS Office, typing tutor, database management system, internet, emailing and tallying will be given.This will add another jewel in the hat of Haryana government which is aiming at providing better education for the girls in the state. Last year, Haryana government told transportation department to arrange for special buses for female students.
