Gujarat
Board has released a notification on its official website in which it said that
the admit cards for the state entrance exam will be released 10 days prior to
the exam. The exam is scheduled to be held in July.
Earlier, the
exam was scheduled on March 31 but the exam was postponed due to COVID-19
breakout. Now the board has decided to conduct the exam on July 31. The hall
tickets for the same will be released on July 21. Candidates will be able to
download the hall tickets from the official website -- gujcet.gseb.org.
According to
the reports, more than 1.25 lakh students are expected to appear for the exam.
The board
has also released question banks for JEE, NEET, and GUJCET exams separately for
English and Gujarati medium students. The GUJCET exam is held for three groups
Am B and AB which corresponds to Mathematics group, Biology group, and
Math-Biology group. The exam is held for the admissions to Engineering and
Pharmacy programs offered by the state universities.
The syllabus for the exam is in accordance with the
NCERT curriculum. The exam consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from
the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. There will be 40
questions from each subject and each question is of one mark.
