Out of an outgoing batch of about 900 students, at least a third has done internships making it highly attractive to potential recruiters. Internships offer a win-win situation to both the companies and the students. Students get a glimpse of the real world, while companies get committed, bright students at a fraction of the cost. In the past, some companies like JSW and Hannover Re extended job offers to the students who interned with them. The placement cell of the college invited many reputed firms as well as start-ups to select the interns. The cell has managed to bring in a varied list of recruiters to the campus in the past."
