Germany is the new America, at least for Indian students pursuing a Master's degree abroad. In the United States and many other developed countries, tuition rates are skyrocketing and Visa requirements are being tightened, yet it is still possible to earn a Masters in Germany free while making the best of the nation's focus on recruiting Indian students.According to Jens Buntjen, federal foreign office counselor in Germany, the nation has invested millions of Euros into making itself a more attractive destination for Indian scholars."The core group that we are particularly reaching out to is the English-speaking and academic community between 20 and 40," said Buntjen in an interview with The Economic Times. "This is a socially dynamic and career oriented younger segment of Indians, who we hope to attract to Germany for higher studies.
"Educational adviser Sravanthi vysetty of Raj Consultants agrees this is an optimal time for Indian students to pursue a Masters in Germany."In the past, English-speaking countries, such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia, have been more popular destinations for studies abroad because Indian students are already familiar with English," said sravanthi vysetty. "Now, it is possible to get a Masters in Germany in English-that is to say, your classes will be conducted entirely in English. This significantly reduces the language barrier, and with financial and immigration-related barriers already quite low, a German education is very accessible for Indians today."
Sravanthi vysetty emphasized that, for Indians interested in studying in Germany, education consultants can provide valuable information and guidance."It is always beneficial to have an experienced helping hand guiding you along major life transitions, such as settling into a new country," said sravanthi vysetty. "I have studied abroad myself, so I completely understand the anxiety that students go through before they take the plunge. My team members at Raj Consultants are also highly experienced and can help students with every step of their path toward earning a Masters in Germany."As debates over tuition hikes and immigration policies continue to dampen educational opportunities in other industrialized countries, Germany is poised to become an ideal destination for Indian students who are serious about earning an advanced degree.
