The 55th Convocation ceremony of the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University was held. Here the shipping minister Nitin Gadkari expressed his views on the need for an extensive research in the country. Also the Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor Ch Vidyasagar Rao presided over the function.
Several eminent personalities Dr Walmik Sarawade, acting registrar Dr Ganesh Manza, BCUD director Dr K V Kale, deans of various faculties, management council members were also present on the occasion.
The introductory speech was given by the Vice chancellor Dr Balu Ananda Chopade.
