The notification for the admissions to the post graduate courses was out on March 19, 2015.
The process of securing admissions for the postgraduate programmes in the Delhi University will be start by a centralized registration from April 1 till April 30.
The students have to appear for entrance exams for the respective courses that will be conducted be between June 1 and June 30.A common information bulletin will convey the details of the online registration. No printed bulletins will be brought out by the different departments.
The departments have to reveal the total number of seats and the number of seats that are reserved for the persons with disability, foreign students, sports, etc.
The students who seek an admission have to apply online through the common web portal of the university. Most of the departments reserve half of the seats of the total for the students of DU, the other 50% seats are filled through entrance test followed by an interview.
However this does not apply for the inter-disciplinary and professional courses A maximum weightage that can be given to the GDs or interviews is 15%.
Also the answer keys of the MCQ entrance exams will be uploaded within 24 hours from the end of the exams, as has been directed to the departments.

The School of Open Learning and Non Collegiate Women Education Board will however conduct its own Registration and entrance tests for the PG Courses of the respective departments.
