After much speculation, various colleges of Delhi University (DU) have displayed second cut-off list for admissions in various courses offered. The second cut-off list has witnessed reasonable dip in percentages of the various courses. It is to be noted that some of the colleges have closed the admissions to popular courses such as B.Com and Economics Honors.
The first cut-off list had witnessed high cutoffs and technical glitches which kept students worried about the admission procedure. In the second cut-off list, the percent mentioned for various colleges are:
"¢Ramjas College announced it's highest cut-off at 99.25 percent for B Com Honors and 98.75 for B.Com. 98.5 percent was announced for Economics Honors which was brought to 97.5 percent in the second list.
"¢Miranda House declared it's second list for economics at 97.25 percent. For English and Political Science, it dipped to 97 percent and 97.5 percent respectively.
"¢Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has reduced the cut-off for B. Com (H) and Economics by 0.5 percent each in for both the course in its second cutoff list.
"¢Kiori Mal College has declared the cut-off for BA (Pass) which is reduced by 1.5 percent to 95 percent. For English the cut-off was reduced by just 0.5 percent to 96 percent. In another notification, seats for History and Physical Science courses have been filled.
"¢Lady Sri Ram College for Girls has reduced cut-off for admissions in Economics to 97.5 percent and for English course, to 97.5 percent.
