In an effort to increase the quality of education and to meet the global standards of education, Delhi Public School (DPS) in Ranchi has tied up with the US consulate in Kolkata.
The school will now work on 10-fold charter to amass educational and cultural exchange in collaboration with the US consulate. In the collaboration, many social issues will be addressed like human trafficking in Jharkhand and other social evils still prevailing in our society. The exchange programme will be organized as students will go abroad and teachers from the US will also come here for the same. Many other schools will also be urged to participate in various proceedings like exchange programme and addressing social issues, etc. In the memorandum, the school mentioned that teachers will be shortlisted as they'll be sent to the US for academic workshops in order to regulate the teaching techniques which in turn will benefit the students and will also increase the quality of education provided.
DPS principal Ram Singh said, "The objective of cross-cultural and the academic exchange were to provide early exposure to the opportunities available in the US universities."
Collaborations like these will help to develop global standards in education and more and more schools should be urged to develop better standards so that they will benefit the students and the nation.
