The link to download the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) has been activated by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati.
Candidates who have applied for the exam can now download the admit cards by visiting the official website-- gate.iitg.ac.in. The exam is scheduled to be held on February 3, 4 and February 10, 11, 2018 (9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm).
There will be 65 questions in the total and candidates will have three hours to attempt the exam. The exam will be of 100 marks and will contain questions from general aptitude (15 marks), engineering mathematics (10-13 marks) and core engineering area as selected by the candidate.
There will be MCQs and fill in the blanks type questions in the exam. While there will be negative marking for the MCQ type questions there will be none for the numerical fill in the blanks type questions.
Steps to download the admit card
- Visit the official website as mentioned above
- On the homepage click on the link which says 'Download GATE 2018 admit card'
- Enter the required information and click on the submit button
- Download the hall ticket and take print out of the same for future reference
