Various details regarding the SSC CGL Exam will be released today and all the candidates can check it out at the official website of SSC which is ssc.nic.in.
The examination will be conducted from August 27 to September 11 and over 8 lakh candidates have applied for the exam.
Admit card
In order to download the admit card the candidates are required to visit the website and click on the link, 'Admit cards of SSC CGL Tier 1' and enter the required details. After submitting the same, the admit cards would appear on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future use.
The admit card will contain various details such as roll no, exam venue, exam duration etc.
Exam pattern
For the first time, the commission will be conducting the CGLE examination in the computer based mode (online).The exam will consist of the following four sections based on general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension. The duration of the exam will be of two hours.
Selection criteria
The selection of the candidates will be based on an overall performance in tier - I, tier- II and tier- III. The candidates are required to qualify all the tiers separately and there will be no sectional cut-off.
