The season of results is upon us now. After the CISCE declared the ICSE and ISC results last week, it is now the turn of the MPBSE to come out with the results.
The students of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) got their final results for the class 12th examination at 4pm on Thursday. Samyak Jain of Mandla region secured first position in the state after securing 97.6% marks. Among the top 5 students in the state, none was from the state capital of Bhopal.
This year's passing percentage remains at 69.33% which is 3.39% better as compared to the last year. 73.78% of the girls who wrote the exam managed to clear it. Then again, 65.81% boys passed the examination this year. Last year, 63.30% boys and 69.42% girls had passed the exam.
Samyak Jain, the student who came on top, secured 488 imprints out of a sum of 500. Ashutosh Singh of Mandla, snatched the second rank with an aggregate score of 487, securing 97.4%. In the last year's results, the first position was secured by a young lady from Harda, who had scored 97.6%.
