Clarifying the current situation regarding the board exam, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) said that the council has neither set the new dates for the postponed exams nor has canceled the exams altogether. CISCE clarified the situation as there are fake notices on the internet claiming the postponement of the exams.
As of now, four fake documents have come into the council’s notice. Two of these fake documents are dated April 1, 2020, and the other two are of march 28 and February 7, respectively.
The council has neither canceled any examinations nor has released any revised schedule for the exams. The council has also advised the students to refer only the official website of the board for any updates regarding the exams.
Amid the coronavirus outbreak, the council has postponed all the exams for classes 10th and 12th which were scheduled between March 19 and March 31. The council will decide new dates once the lockdown is over and after reviewing the conditions.
