Though there are still contrasting views about the pros and cons of the Choice Based Credit System, the government is going ahead with its full fledged implementation. The dubious choice based credit system (CBCS) would be taken off by every single focal university from the nearing scholastic session despite the dissent from an area of instructors and students here.

UGC has created syllabi on 103 subjects, 85 of which are principle line courses and 18 are specific courses, giving 30 for every penny decision to the colleges to made corrections in the courses.
The following meeting of the VCs are slated in October before the President (the Visitor) surveys the organizations execution in November.
