The proposition was screened by the college's official committee (EC) in spite of dispute from five individuals, who affirmed that the project is being pushed in an "undemocratic" way.
"There was no examination on the CBCS ... There was no explanation or thought on it. Notwithstanding difference from five individuals the V-C passed the CBCS usage," one of the EC individuals Abha Dev Habib said.
With the confirmation procedure to DU's college classes for 2015-2016 session set to start this week, the colleges were in a situation on whether they ought to set up the syllabus, timetables and do workload appraisal as indicated by the needs and prerequisites of CBCS or proceed with the before system.
