The notification regarding the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2018 has been released by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). The exam is scheduled in next year on May 13.
The exam will be held to determine the competence of the interested candidates based on which they will be selected for admission into various engineering courses at various COMEDK-member institutions.
The exam will be conducted in online mode and consortium noted that “the information brochure in this behalf would be hosted on the website (comedk.org) in due course”.
Eligibility for Engineering
- Interested candidates are required to have cleared II PUS and their 10+2 exams from the recognized board
- Candidates should have at least scored 45 percent (40 percent in the reserved category) in their plus two exams with physics and math as compulsory subjects.
Eligibility for Architecture
- Interested candidates are required to have cleared II PUS and their 10+2 exams from the recognized board
- Candidates should have at least scored 50 percent (45 percent in the reserved category) in their plus two exam
- Candidate should have appeared for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and have scored at least 80 out of 200 marks
