Changes in interest rates will impact the value of a Banks’ assets and its liabilities and therefore its net interest margin. Adverse interest rate movements thus threaten any banks’ earnings and capital base.
The session aims to give participants a good understanding of various tools and techniques for measuring and managing interest rate risk using HBS case study for discussion. The appropriateness of different risk management policies and procedures would also be discussed.
