If you are looking for a teaching job, this piece of news would certainly cheer you up. The state Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the much awaited recruitment schedule to rope in more than 9,000 teachers.
According to Ganta Srinivasa, the state's HRD minister, the notification for the same under the DSC (District Selection Committee) would be out on this coming Friday. The vacancies, as notified, are as follows "“
- Schools assistants "“ 1849 posts
- Language pundits "“ 812 posts
- Physical Education teachers "“ 156
- Secondary Grade teachers "“ 6244
According to the Minister, the exact number of vacancies is 9061. The applications for the above mentioned posts would be live from 2nd December 2014 to 16th January 2015. The exams / tests for the posts are scheduled for 9th May "“ 11th May.
The results for the tests are likely to be out on 28th June 2015. The shortlisted candidates would be asked to join from the next academic year.
