Recently,
two professors of Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (IIM-L) visited
Harvard Business School to attend a faculty workshop on 'Microeconomics of
Competitiveness' held at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, HBS.
As a result of which, IIM-L has entered into an institutional alliance with the
Harvard Business School.
Due to
alliance with HBS, IIM-L will be offering a course similar to HBS called
"Microeconomics of Competitiveness". This course will be taught by Prof
Ashutosh Kumar Sinha and Prof Sanjay Singh of IIM-L to students of different
programmes for academic session 2016-17. Currently, this course is being
offered exclusively by SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.
Harvard
expertise will be utilized in cluster development at local government level too
by IIM-L due to this alliance.
