Lucknow University
(LU) has started its online application process for Masters in Business
Administrations (MBA) for the academic year (2016-17). It has 540 seats in 9
MBA programmes. The online process started on Friday and the last date of form
submission is March 31.
Those who have a CAT score will be called directly for
interview and others need to clear LUMAT 2016 then only they can appear for the
personal interview. The university is considering both CAT score as well as
LUMAT score for admission to the programme.
Who are eligible? Students who have scored a minimum of 50
per cent aggregate marks (45 per cent for SC/ST students) in their Bachelor's
degree in any field are eligible to apply for the course. Those who have
incomplete under graduation result can be given provisional admission but they
will be required to furnish their final mark-sheets by July 16.
LUMAT 2016 will be held at Lucknow, Bhopal, Noida, Delhi,
Varanasi, Patna and North East.
Applications can be filed online for LUMAT by paying fees of
Rs 1500/- for general/OBC while the amount for SC/ST candidates is Rs 1000/-
