The mathematics question paper of Class 12 was held on March 18. However according to sources the question paper was leaked by the teachers in a school at Hosur.
As the question paper was circulated through Whatsapp it is possible that it was passed on to the students all over the country within minutes.
A petition was filed by a Class 12 student of Gopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya School, V Rina of Anna Nagar West. The Chennai based girl also came up for the hearing.
She appealed for a re-examination, cancelling the previously held examination.
However a re-examination has yet not been announced.
The Madras government has questioned the Tamil Nadu government for not commanding a re-examination till date. The AGP has been told to acknowledge the reason of not declaring a re-examination of the Class 12 Mathematics examination.
The government pleader (AGP) of the state is to respond to the issue by April 7 by the Justice T S Sivagnanam.
According to the Counsel for the petitioner immediate action had been taken and also police complaints have been lodged against the four teachers. They have been arrested and remanded.
This awful event has led to the transfer of 118 teachers of the Krishnagiri district. They have been transferred to various states.
