To provide quality education equal to the Kendriya Vidyalayas, 66 special or model schools are being set up 66 in Rajasthan. They will start functioning from the current academic session.
The additional district project coordinator (RMSA), Satish Joshi informed that for the 6th to 12th classes, schools will be started under the name of Swami Vivekanand Model School.
The Rastriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) ensures special emphasis on Science, Maths and English Education. The Swami Vivekanand Model Schools will be funded by this institution.
In the Hindoli, Talera, Nainwa blocks, three model schools have already started functioning. In these schools over 600 students have been attending classes. English speaking classes have also been organized for the students of these schools.
"Those students from remote areas who were afraid of English are now very much familiar with the language and have started speaking the same," Gupta said. ,"
Principal of Swami Vivekanand Model school of Hindoli town, Anil Gupta informed that the remote areas students have become familiar of the English language and being no longer afraid of the language have started speaking as well.
With a 2.80 crore budget for each school in the district every school building includes a play ground with 23 classrooms, a hall and science and computer labs.
The high tech and sophisticated teaching facilities in the model schools have made the parents happy and enthusiastic. In the Hindoli blocks 240 girls and boys from over 20 remote villages attend the model schools. In the Keshoraipatan block, the fourth school is at its final step.
