The new IIMs will be situated at Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Bodh Gaya (Bihar), Sirmaur (Himachal Pradesh), Nagpur (Maharashtra), Sambalpur (Odisha) and Amritsar (Punjab).
Every establishment will begin with an admission of 140 students for the post-graduate course, the leader project of the IIMs, confirmation for which will be through CAT.
