On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority released the admit cards for the state Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2017 and candidates can download the same from the official website, which is upbasiceduboard.gov.in.

Important dates

- Exam date- October 15, 2017
Candidates
More than 10 lakh candidates applied for the UPTET 2017 exam out of which more than 32,000 candidates have been rejected due to various reasons. As a result 9.76 lakh candidates will appear for the exam.
Paper pattern
The exam will be conducted in two parts. The first paper will be for candidates who have applied for the post of teachers for classes 1 to 5 and the second paper will be for the teachers for classes 6 to 8.
Servers
The servers of the UPTET website were facing some issues due to large number of visitors. In order to clear the issue the site has links to two servers on the main page from which candidates can download their admit cards. To download the card candidates are required to provide their registration number and date of birth.
Steps to download the admit cards
- Log in to the official website of the UPTET at upbasiceduboard.gov.in
- On the homepage, click the UPTET link
- Among the other links which are present, click on the 'download admit card' link
- Enter all the details in the fields provided in the prescribed manner
- Click on the submit button to submit the information
- Take the print out of the admit card and save it for the future reference
