System Application and Products (SAP) in Data Processing is an Enterprise Resource Planning Software (ERP) package developed by a German Software Company SAP AG having headquarters situated in Walldor, Germany. This software can be used in any industry that deals with Production, Sales, Purchase, Accounting, Warehouse Management etc. In today’s era SAP technology is being considered to be the excellent and larger revenue generating software. This software is being built around the concept of business and is being used by the Multi National Company. The price of this software is very high and the training price is also high. SAP is very wide in itself and to understand it business knowledge is required first.
SAP is for both developer and for non-developer. If we talk about developer then he/she needs to understand the programming language ABAP (Advance Business Application Programming) using which they can do the coding and customization part that is being required. For the non-developer he/she needs to understand the business aspects thoroughly so as to guide the developer and also to perform the required configurations. There are many standard transactions like MM01 (creation of Material Master), MM02 (Changes in Material Master Data), MM03 (Display of material master data), VA01 (Sales Order Creation), VA02 (Changes in Sales Order), VA03 (Display of Sales Order information) etc. Some customized transactions are also being created according to the user requirement or in standard transactions some custom part is added called enhancement, according to the industry requirement.

Besides, even if a person has some good knowledge of basic scenarios and business module then also he can earn very good salary from this. This software has many extended features and is also used to create web based application. It also supports the dynamic behavior and to the greater extent. Now every company is trying to incorporate SAP to earn larger amount of turnover.
